4 Ingredient Peach Sorbet

These hot summer days have had us wanting all the cold things! And with peach season in full force here in the south, I needed something to make with my overwhelming amount of peaches. Sorbet came to mind and I knew it was the perfect solution.

Ripe peaches are so naturally sweet, you don’t need much sweetener in this recipe at all! This makes for a healthier dessert and is great for when you don’t want to pump your kids full of sugar. haha! I prefer to peel my peaches for this recipe because I don’t like the texture of the skin in the sorbet. But if it doesn’t bother you, then you can definitely skip that step. And always taste the mixture before freezing. That way you can add more sweetener or lemon juice to your preference.

I freeze my mixture in a freezer safe container and scoop with an ice cream scoop when serving. But you could also pour into popsicle molds instead!

Ingredients:

  • 8 medium peaches, peeled and pitted
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • Juice of half a lemon

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender and blend until smooth. Taste and make any adjustments you feel necessary. Pour mixture into a loaf pan* or a freezer safe container and place in the freezer. Let sit for at least 6 hours or until frozen. If frozen overnight, let sit on the counter for about 20 minutes before serving so that it is easier to scoop out. Enjoy!

*If using a loaf pan, make sure to cover tightly with foil before placing it in the freezer.
